Welcome to VotersInjuredatWork.org's web site. If you or someone you know and love was injured at work, this web site is for you.

Launched in January 2005, VotersInjuredatWork.org is a non-profit political organization dedicated to bringing fairness and balance to California's workers' compensation system. All of our board members are unpaid volunteers and have experienced life-altering changes as a result of an injury or illness caused by work, so we understand your problems.

We provide a voice for injured workers with the state legislature and the governor. We have representatives sitting on various state advisory committees, attending public meetings and testifying in support of positive changes to the laws that are now devastating to working families. If you just take a moment to view our web site, you can keep up with what is happening in the system and how VotersInjuredatWork.org is addressing the problems. You may also want to read about the stories of others whom have had problems in the system, or submit your own story.

To read about the problems facing other workers, click on Bodies of Evidence where you will see the mounting toll on workers who got hurt on the job. You can also submit your own workers' compensation story to us for posting on that page by going to Bodies of Evidence and clicking on the Submit Your Story button.

To find out about various public meetings in California, click on CALENDAR and look for a meeting or event near you.

VotersInjuredatWork.org is composed of people just like you. We are friends, family members, and acquaintances of someone who has been injured at work. We are workers who have dedicated much of our lives to our jobs and trades. We are men and women who have labored everyday to sustain and provide for our families and we have provided the State of California with labor which in return has given our state great economic gains. Even though we are fighting for the cause of the injured worker, our members do not have to be injured workers. If you know of the plight of the injured worker or would like to learn more, please get involved in our organization.

Get involved! Call us at 1-800-401-VIAW or send an email to: administrator@viaw.org
